Vigro Deep

Vigro Deep (Kamogelo Phetla) is one of South Africa’s most influential young music producers and an early pioneer of Amapiano. Born in Pretoria and raised in a musical family with his father, DJ Spring, regarded as a Deep House legend he developed a deep, electric, and instantly recognisable sound that pushes far beyond the genre’s boundaries. His breakout global productions, including the seminal 'Ke Star', showcased how Amapiano and Afrobeats could merge, helping shape a new wave of African dance music. Known for bold experimentation and distinctive edits such as his rework of Jess Glynne’s 'My Love', Vigro continues to evolve both as an artist and producer. Today, he stands as a leading force in modern African electronic music, expanding its reach and redefining its future on global stages.
