Bio:

Toby Holguin is one of the most respected DJs and producers to come out of Cali, Colombia. T hrough many years this acclaimed Miami based executive has produced, remixed, and licensed tracks for labels such as Ministry of Sound UK, Universal Music Latino (Mexico and Brazil Divisions), Universal Music Pictures USA, Basswalk Records, USA, Lowlife Records USA, CR2 Records UK, Ruffloaderz UK, King of Ibiza, Tommy Boy Records NYC, Vale Music Spain, Brahma Beats Brazil, Brazil Deluxe, Oid Mortales Argentina, Shock Magazine - El Espectador Colombia, Cuepoint Records Germany, and Space & Sound Italy.He has won awards like the Shock Magazine 2002 "Best Club in Bogota" (La Sala Club) also releasing with them two albums where 50,000 copies were distributed for the magazine's 12th Anniversary. He has remixed names like Estefano, Carlinhos Brown, and Juanes to infamous tracks like; "A Media Vida", "Bocarriba", and "La Camisa Negra". Moreover, his tracks have been signed to more than 20 compilations, 1 short film, and 2 TV projects, 9 albums in total, where 5 of them he went solo. He released through legendary CR2 Records/King of Ibiza a dj mix for the Bora Bora Ibiza "World Tour Cd" in conjunction with Alex Miles and Dj Moffous where he also holds a summer residency. Moreover, he has also played in most of the clubs in the white isle including; Es Paradis, Blue Marlin, and Sankeys. In addition, with Marcello Azevedo he will be writing the score for Universal Pictures - Silverlight Entertainment film; "Daniel Dolphin and the Pearl of Leadership".In Spain, his remix of "Bocarriba" reached #1 in August 2004 at "Cadena100 - Los 40". In addition, during WMC 2004, Cooljunkie charted his anthem "Wicked Fortress (Chus & Ceballos Remix)" as #1 and "Falling in Love with Music (Angel Moraes Remix)" as # 7.Toby has headlined the most awarded electronic music event in the world; the UMF Miami editions 4, 5, 6, where he exclusively held his own tent for his respected label Basswalk Records. He has also played prime time at nightclubs and special events in Mexico, USA, Colombia, Israel, Spain, Costa Rica, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Croatia, Bahrain, South Korea, Italy, Argentina, Holland, Germany, Nepal, Slovenia, UK, Switzerland, Panama and Puerto Rico. Currently, Toby holds a residency at Blackdoor Club in Bogota, where he continues to expand his music label with a high-end technology club and an upcoming tech house label called "Bad Barbie Records" in conjunction with the Chilean Aldo Cadiz.
