Seamless Recordings brings you the new release from Angel Johnson. Angel began her DJ career way back in 1991, a veteran of her trade and a pioneer in helping to break the stereotype of what was once considered a uniquely male vocation.

Her second release on Seamless comes in the form of Walk Away. Emanating a classic soulful house vibe with beats in a similar vein to Kerri Chandler, the song conveys its message and is delivered straight from the heart. This comes complete with a dub, which takes on a slightly more funkier feel to it, and then to round of Angel provides a more alternative disco version, which takes on a more nu disco vibe.

Then to remix the track we have Killed Kassette. Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, the now London based producer is no stranger to the dance scene. Starting his DJ & production career as one half of 'Studiopunks' he has released on leading labels such as Vendetta and along the way collaborated with vocalists including Jocelyn Brown, Abigail Bailey & Katherine Ellis. He was also the presenter & producer for the capital city's only dance music show on Castle FM, attracting artists such as Eats Everything, Huxley, Joey Negro & Phil Asher, amongst others, to appear in the castle FM studios for the highly popular show. With previous releases under the Killed Kassette alias has seen him release on Prison Entertainment, Let It Play and also Kevin Saudersons' KMS, where his track You was one of the biggest tracks at Movement in Detroit including DJ Dan, Kevin Saunderson. For his remix he takes this track on a more nu school deep house vibe. With a leading bass line which is reminiscent, but certainly not the same as M.A.N.D.Y vs Booka Shade - Body Language, this is definitely a track that will stick in your head this Autumn
