Natema was born in May 2009 in the city of London, England, conceived by producers and multi-instrumentalists, Tetto Bononi and Luis Valente. The project seeks to explore the many facets of EDM mixed with cultural influences and sounds from various corners around the globe. Described as an extremely danceable and memorable production team, Natema was mentioned by, "The Independent" news as one the 10 best gigs in London. They have performed alongside big names in the music industry such as Booka Shade, Dizzee Rascal, Astrix, and Ellie Goulding, at various renowned clubs and festivals including Pacha, The Egg, Heaven, Koko, Lovebox Festival, La Bellevilloise,The Week and the legendary Guaba Beach voted Dj Mag 15 best club.
Currently Resident DJs of " DeepSound FM " and "Ice Cold Fm " in the British capital and are currently ranked 46 best Electro House DJs in the UK , by the "Top Deejays" website.Recently, Natema produced a remix for Californian based band Loquat, featuring another remixes by Morgan Page, Dan Sena. This lead to Natema signing with Tommy Boy Entertainment in New York for there forthcoming EPs and music video's including "Really Bad MF", which was recorded at the MPC studios in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
In 2012 Natema landed in Rotterdam with the aim of producing several new songs at the MPC STUDIOS with Jean Verheyen as Production Executive. After a month of recordings and trials, they returned to Brazil for the first tour there, with several tracks still going through the creative process.
Natema’s new single "Really Bad MF" has a vocal sample recorded in an unusual way... on a beautiful sunny day on a beach in Portugal. This sample has a peculiar English accent and was fun enough to be the trigger for creating a new groove with a heavy and extremely uplifting bassline.
