Switzerlands !Organism imprint returns with a superb new single from Parisian production duo Solead featuring a remix from Denmarks Soren Aalberg

Parisian duo Vincent Courcot & Charles Michaud AKA Solead has a rich musical history together. The pair are long standing friends who have collaborated on band projects, live shows and electronic production together, culminating in the development of their Solead moniker, under which they have recorded for labels such as Vapour Recordings, Metroline and their own Tree Hand Music.

Now this much respected pair have teamed up with the excellent !Organism, the Swiss based label that has been gaining fans with its consistently solid house & techno over the last couple of years. The EP gets going with Quatre a rolling and glitchy, synth driven techy affair that is an undoubted florrfiller. Relentless percussion, spacious reverb drenched FX and interwoven synths build into a heads down groove that has you locked in from the start to the closing bar.

The original of Quatre is followed by Soren Aalbergs Paranormal remix. Aalberg hails from Copenhagen in Denmark where he has built a reputation for producing quality techno, lead to releases on labels such as Bedrock & MB Elektronics. He also runs the Girafe Sauvage label with sometime production partner Thomas Angstrom. For his mix of Quatre, Aalberg journeys into classic techno territory with an uncompromising adaptation that draws on floorshaking bass and tight rhythms, a perfect accompaniment to the original.

Finally we have Botanic, a dark edged and spacy slab of techno with an otherworldly feel brought on by the discordant keys and twisted FX, this is definitely one for the early hours.

Another stellar release from the ever excellent !Organism, enjoy!
