NVLOAP is back after his Saucy debut 'Star' last July, which picked up a feature from the much loved promotion network, Inspected. This five track EP, made up of three originals and two remixes, is a perfect showcase of his synth-work skill and ability to create gorgeous atmospheres using his own vocals as well as other innovative sound design. The lead track is compiled of a gentle solution of soft, floaty synth plucks, shuffling drums and a tight, booming 808 kick grounding the track forming a sonic experience like no other. To add to the package, Das Kapital cranks up the funk with a seedy tech-house remix whilst Melinki contributes a lucid liquid Drum n Bass rework. The second original, entitled 'One', is yet another seriously sick set of fleeting soft synths and swinging drum patterns complimenting the complexity of the various melodies. Drawing this release to a close is the third original in the bundle, 'Bad Rhymes'. This tracks technicality follows suit with the first two however again hard to categorise in both mood and genre, really forward thinking stuff! NVLOAP seems to think other people make sense however if they could muster an insight into his theoretical music knowledge and production flair, I bet most people wouldn't understand him!
