West Coast wunderkind Luke Mandala has garnered an international audience with his prolific releases on respected labels the likes of Desert Hearts, Selador, Traum, Merkaba Music, and Seattle's legendary Uniting Souls.
This release features 4 brand new retakes of Luke's "NewFangled Slang", a crisp, emotive tech house gem, whose rhythmic, percussive build explodes into an acid-layered, synth-driven melody with spacey vocals.
For the remix duties, Uniting Souls enlisted Seattle favorites Pezzner and Jeromy Nail, as well as the label's longtime Los Angeles resident Jordan Strong. Textured, cerebral sounds are rendered corporeal, in their ability to incite goosebumps and gyrate movement, igniting the dancefloor in festive unity, much as the Uniting Souls movement itself.
