Breakout Worldwide Recordings is a South Florida-based record label specializing in uptempo and progressive house, trap, hip-hop and Latin freestyle music. Breakout Worldwide founder Charlie Dee Diaz has been in the music business for almost three decades. After working with the production company Platinum Vibe in the '80s and being mentored by Ted Currier, (Atomic Dog- George Clinton) Charlie knew he didn't want to be tied down with the restraints record labels often possess. He founded Breakout Worldwide Recordings, giving him the power to release music of high caliber that would make it into clubs. During his time in the music industry, Charlie has worked on several songs that have topped the Billboard charts. Under his artist monikers Crowd Control and Charlie Dee Diaz, he's landed production deals with Capitol Records and Jive, and has remixed and edited many top 40 hits, making his knack for the music industry ever-apparent. Breakout Worldwide mainly releases beat and bassline-oriented songs, often with Latin percussion overtones, that wouldn't typically be heard on mainstream radio. Breakout Worldwide sets the bar high with their releases, straying away from typical worn-out EDM and house songs. Citing influences such as Revealed Recordings, Spinnin' Records and Tommy Boy, Breakout Worldwide Recordings is unlike any other independent label out there, providing its artists with the tools they need for success. The sound of the underground: Breakout Worldwide.
