Jupiter - Saturn Conjunction 21.12.2020
On December 21, 2020, JUPITER and SATURN were so exactly one behind the other on one line from Earth that they look like a single, large planet in the western evening sky after sunset. This apparent meeting of Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest planets in the solar system, is known as the 'Great Conjunction'. It happens about every 20 years, but it happened almost 400 years ago as exactly as in 2020, because most of the time the planets are a track above or below the elcliptic.
The composition by B. Ashra was published on the Klangwirkstoff Records label and was composed according to exact calculations of the orbits.
