Canal Auditif, the label from France who have been offering their own individual take on electronic music since 2010 and back with another journey through their unique synth driven world. Prove them Wrong & Vertigo take the lead for what is Canals 7th record and the guys from Romania do not disappoint.
Genysis opens up the EP unveiling beautifully lavish synth work that dances and moves with the flow of the track, allowing the beats to softly led the way. Genysis is a truly dreamy workout but a workout non-the less.
Omen pushes the playlist in its own direction, a marching groove layered again heavily with think synth tones, faint reminders of past dance floor dreams swell in the breaks executing the perfect restraint in the bigger parts of the track.
Broken Memories offers up a slightly more frantic energy while the characterful arpeggio bubbles along a serene soundscape, this track ups the urgency with great effect. Dawn of the day focuses on the heart of the journey. feeling like a late night drive through a forgotten forest, as the rising light of the sun breaks through the thick undergrowth. A track that holds power and beauty together in an almost classic way.
Closing the EP we have 2 tracks which are more dance floor ready. Eridanus is a one of those enticing tech house tracks that will be busting for the white isle this summer whilst Make them blind pairs a crisp and fluent rhythm with a delicate and dreamy melody, a real testament to the producers ability to control the pace and direction of their arrangements over the course of the full EP. A journey in the truest sense of the word. Distributed By Symphonic Distribution -
