In celebration of their first 10 years, Motech will release "DJ3000 Presents 10 Years of Motech (The Remixes), a full length remix Compilation in June 2012, which will be preceded by two EPs featuring some of the tracks from the Compilation, in March and May. The first EP features remixes of three classic Motech releases. Taking on Gerald Mitchell's "Belly Dancer" (MT-008) are Germany's Sascha Sonido and DJ 3000 himself. DJ 3000's remix forms a more aggressive version of the original, adding a layer of synths, stabs and a drum pattern reminiscent of the Marc Kinchen era of electronic production. Sascha Sonido flips the ethnic elements of the original composition and adds an enticing drum pattern to create a subdued, late night interpretation of the track. Netherlands staple Delta Funktionen breaks out the 808 to dip Franki Juncaj's "Moments in Time" into an old school vat, employing a drum pattern that Armando or Chip E would approve of, while retaining the sonic integrity of the original composition's elements. Finally Dutch duo Enthousiaste Gasten took to task the hypnotic rhythms of "The Pressure", originally produced by Franki Juncaj and Spain's Fer BR, Enthousiaste Gasten keep the original funk but up the ante, with masterful sequencing and filter play that extracts even more emotion than the original. The celebrations will culminate later in the year with the release of the "New Breed: The Imminent Sounds of Motech Records featuring Motech alumni as well as unreleased tracks by up and coming artists....
