Argenta are an electronic, new wave production outfit, originating from the Italian island of Sicily. Led by legendary Italian DJ/Producer Daniele Tignino, who is better known for electro-house club productions such as Love Bite (Time Records), Psycho Radio (Hooj Choons, Azuli Records) and Klonhertz (Fatboy Slims - Southern Fried Records).

Tignino is also well known across Europe as part of the hugely successful dance act TI.PI.CAL, who had several major chart and radio hits during the mid 90s and also have a new album forthcoming. Hes joined here by musical partners, Ottavio Leo and Roberto Callabro, who complete Argentas production line-up, with the new wave sounding vocals being provided by retro rock n rolla, Sean Kelly who originates from London, England.

Argentas debut release for RAID is Childrens World, a quality slice of 80s inspired, electronic-indie-funk, which takes you back to the new wave / post punk sound and comes with a tasty set of club mixes to light up floors across the globe this summer. Out of the UK we give you Paradise 45 aka Guy Williams (Black Rabbit), Thomas Gandey (Caged Baby) and Dan Williams (Disco Bloodbath), who fire up two devastating mixes of the finest quality Nu-Disco, which will work well for different house-minded DJs.

Also originating from the UK is the dynamic duo who call themselves Sometimes, a collaboration between Jay P (from house legends Stretch & Vern) and electro-house maestro Ben Macklin who team up to give us two slamming peak time electro-progressive remixes in the Pryda vein, which will tear up any dance floor when dropped. Finally we have two melodic slices of Sicilian electro-progressive house from Legato who is part of the Argenta production team, plus a rather tasty dubbed out house groove from upcoming Italian DJ/producer Da Lukas, which uses minimal tripped out vocal parts and has a sublime breakdown.
