Inside Out Records come on strong once more with a new four track EP from Namito & Stevie R. It features two originals from the pair as well as remixes by Jay Tripwire and Ron Flatter. Namito is a stalwart Berlin producer who has worked with Stevie R, the Inside Out Records boss, on a number of occasions before. The pair really hit it off in the studio and this new release proves that: the first original is Black Oasis and is a deep and spiritual house track that has magical melodies over the top and rolling rubber beats. Full of atmosphere and totally absorbing, it is subtle and delicate but really makes a mark. The second original is Sparks of Soul - seven minutes of super silky and romantic house, with shuffling drums, gentle melodies and great textures all drawing you in. Ron Flatter brings an extra helping of quality German goodness to the table, and over seven minutes he gets seriously spaced out and deep, with sci-fi sounds and alien motifs making it a cinematic cut. Jay Tripwire, a house music luminary bringing the big guns to the label, steps up the heat even further. His remix is more tripped out and sinewy, with cosmic melodies and liquid chords unfolding over the drums. It closes out another seriously fine package from Inside Out.
