We kick off 2019 in emphatic style with a superb offering from one of our in-house stalwarts, Blufeld and his awesome Anonymous We Stand which features a brilliant remix from Narel. Last time we got a taste of Blufeld's uplifting progressive sounds was on remix duty for Ottexx's Welcome To My Space back in the Summer of 2018. For many years Blufeld has been captivated and completely mesmerized into a three-dimensional world of sound, and endeavours to maximize all levels of the sonic and emotional spectrum so as to reach and tug at the heartstrings of people who love electronic music. He is a craftsman with a deep sense of care and love for the output and quality of his productions, a producer who works solo to use sound and imagination to output everything that's inside his heart and mind to create some of the most complex and deepest emotive tracks in progressive house music. For him, electronic music is the pulse of life. Evocative of all genres, yet guided by a set of dynamics and instrumentation very much of its own unique identity. Always the professional with an intelligent sound, his work always gets the office buzzing.

The Original Mix delivers a driving progressive house mover with a solid beat and strong bassline at its core. The track focuses in on melodies, with a series of cascading synths bringing them to life. We're captivated by the emotions that ooze for the track and, as the layers build this become more intense and hypnotic. A fantastic, infectious and simply beautiful slice that will turn a few heads for sure.

Melbourne based Narel aka Nick Simmons takes over on the remix, creating a truly sublime cut that will definitely have floors bouncing. Nick has been with us for many years now, mostly on our Green Martian imprint with original works such as the outstanding 2017 album Losing Adequacy and the subsequent remix package in 2018. He became fascinated by electronic music after hearing Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene aged 5. At 15 he began experimenting with?samplers and sequencers and in time?added synthesizers to his setup.?What was a hobby became a bit more serious in 2010 when his first tracks were released on the Bonzai Progressive imprint Fourty 5. The Narel sound is rooted in old skool progressive, progressive house and ambient/downtempo.?Atmospheric layers, subtle evolving sounds?and?melodies are central to his tracks, as is maintaining dynamic range and not going with cliches. Always great to have him here at BP. Here, we're treated to a masterclass in building progressive grooves thanks to Narel's distinct classic style. A beautiful flowing groove made up of tight drums, rhythmic percussions and mesmerizing melodies. Various sounds intertwine with perfection and ease to bring that classic progressive vibe to life. Binding the track together is wonderfully constructed bassline that chugs along effortlessly. An amazing remix that will not disappoint.
