UNER kick starts 2018 with a new release on his Solar Distance label from Italian artist Luca Maniaci, who boasts previous releases on labels such as Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings, Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings and 2000 and One's Area Remote.
Luca Maniaci along with the above mentioned labels also runs his own imprint Mind Games Recordings, and his music is regularly supported by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Steve Rachmad, UMEK and Anja Schneider.
With a love of real instruments such as pianos, cellos and strings, Luca Maniaci’s music fuses orchestral elements with Techno grooves made from sequenced synths and drum machines.
First on the release is “Alba” which is pushed forward by an uplifting lead synth that’s layered under emotional strings and rattling percussion. With building euphoria the track eloquently grows with hypnotic tones that are truly mesmerising and perfect for the dancefloor.
Track two “Destino” starts with a rubber acid line which trippy modulations combine with the epic melody of the strings and fluttering lead synth. Poignant and thoughtful this is a timeless composition compiled for a modern club setting and audience of dancing people.
Finishing things off is “Horizon” which has a looping lead synth rich with techno influence and dramatic pads with orchestral notation. Like a cosmic symphony this tracks futuristic sound is mechanical and intricate with a warm sound that unfolds like the soundtrack to a perfect sunrise.
