Born in the ancient city of Krakow, in the south of his homeland, Polish producer Kacper Kostecki has been a revelation in the second half of 2013 as Particles now prepares to launch his "21st Century Symphony". Inspired by the vanguard of the underground dance scene, John Digweed, Robert Babicz and Hernan Cattaneo all played their part in helping shape the Kostecki sound while the likes of Radio Slave and Marc Romboy filled the Krakow airwaves, inspiring Kostecki in the process.

Under the tutelage of best-selling Polish producer, Kobana, Kacper Kostecki has crafted a well-earned reputation for himself in the past six months that has seen him produce a clutch of original works and remixes that have found themselves on to both the Particles and Dopamine labels. Indeed, the November release of the "True Story" EP for the latter, with a remix by his friend and mentor, has proved a highlight of the 2013 progressive house year. Now, following on from the spectacular debut, "Outset" EP in May, a remix of Ioan Gamboa in June and a contribution to the "Summer Particles 2013" compilation, Particles is proud to announce Kacper Kostecki's sophomore outing for the label.

Driven by intuition, Kostecki's music transcends traditional musical boundaries providing a unique and trademark sound that marks him apart from so many mainstream artists. Spending time honing his production skills through long days and nights, the creation of distinctive and interesting soundscapes has been a trademark feature of the Kostecki sound as they become central themes in his work to create a "different and interesting" approach to his craft.

No better is this approach illustrated than in the opening title track. "21st Century Symphony" bristles with intelligent percussive rhythms coupled with a repetitive classical theme inherent in the title. As the track reaches its second movement a deep, pulsating bass line rasps relentlessly in the lower frequency range providing a sublime melancholy nuance. Brian Eno and his "Discreet Music" are thus reformed in 21st century techno.

"Flashing Button" continues the techno theme, this time fuelled by the acid-tinged bass lines of 1990s Josh Wink. Simultaneously, an urgent melodic refrain is accompanied by looped vocal sample that delights and delays its way across the entire spectrum of sound with its plaintiff cry.

Final offering, "LO(ve)-Fi" provides an appositely named ending to the trilogy. An immaculate collage of off-kilter beats and rippling arpeggios pit their respective wits against lo-fi repetitive piano chords in all their distorted glory to provide a magical piece full of Kosteck's verve and penchant for fascinating sounds.

Three new tracks from Kacper Kostecki will ensure that his "21st Century Symphony" will remain a timeless piece of classical techno wizadry.
