Ways To Die Various Artists 003 portrays a playful side of techno. BLAP, DLTN & Burden and Rico Casazza join the roster and contribute with their different styles. With tracks that range from broken to 4/4 and from industrial to acid, the output is a compilation conceived and made specifically for the dancefloor.
Owners Flaminia and Train present their new collaboration project "Forget The Reality" with a deep and thoughtful "What you have forgotten". Being originally two different pieces of work from the duo's live performance, the final work establishes a narcoleptic atmosphere supported by a furious set of drums and shifts mood in the second half, leaving room to a series of melancholic chords.
BLAP pull out the strong straight-forward 4/4 tune "Zingen". It works perfectly and elegantly as a dj tool layered with other as well as standalone track conferring a minimalistic and focused sound. Solid kick and bass, keep the mood constantly up while a distant stab sets the tone creating a jumping groove.
DLTN and Burden make the relentless "Crizz" where the massive low-end is perfectly balanced with a wide-open high frequency range. The repetitive stab keeps the listener receptive and doesn't spare time to rest.
Alessio Pesenti's "Bagaria" is a loopy and hypnotic high-energy track. Frantic drum patterns play hide and seek with the joky lead. The unmissable kick drum keeps pounding to maintain a tone which is truly representative of the label's philosophy.
Rico Casazza, creates a unique mood with "Pusher". After the intro, the hook sets in with the ears and conveys a sense of pure wildness. The acid synth establishes an exuberant pattern, which is broken by sudden brain-touching stabs.
