Street Kid EP maintains influences of the garage and bassline sounds for which he's best known. But this EP has house sensibilities; a direct 44 foundation, keyboard hooks and vocal loop. The title track "Street Kid" is expansive, bumping house at its finest, with an ear-worm vocal and adrenaline-building breaks designed to pack out the dancefloor. From an artist who is building a very carefully considered discography, this is a key moment from Arie Mando, not to be missed. 1031 is more stripped back, with dry hits and driving kicks bringing smoother energy as vocals add to the groove. It's a real roller for getting the floor sweaty. Finally, Vato Loco steps up with some old school rude boy attitude that brings a sense of feeling and this one is sure to prove to be another big weapon. The Street Kid remix is a 100%% club tool with driving bass line, shuffling hi hats and a punchy kick and shows the perfect signature sound of Vato Loco. Firing and well produced, this is more dance floor dynamite for all and pure underground club feeling here!
