Shaven's latest EP opens up with the track ?Euphoria?, which solidifies his trademark sound. It's a slow burning, dancefloor oriented acid track with ominous pads spreading throughout. A track perfect for tension building, with two breaks in the middle which will keep everyone on the dancefloor begging for resolve. Another ?fuck you? track to the ?banger? and ?big drop? culture.
The second track ?It's a lonely road? deviates from Shaven's previous work due to the lack of a fat 303 bass line, which is in this case replaced by a catching trance inspired melody. A simple yet effective track which is purely melody driven, tailored to spice up the any set. A great testimony to the diverse sound Shaven has (yet) to offer.
Finally, the EP closes with the hypnotic behemoth of a track called ?Madness?. The furthest from Shaven's work to this day, it showcases his diversity and skill as a producer to create new soundscapes in which to get lost. Never sticking to comfort zones, it's a taste of what is yet to come in his work, and it will be hypnotic, weird and out of this world, just like ?Madness?.
