Faith Howard has taken the house music world by storm with music you can dance to...and still keeping God first. Her first single, 'I Have The Faith' charted on Solar radio and went up the traxsource charts. Next came 'Waymaker' This Gospel House Gem is a song to keep you dancing..and maybe even get a shout in! Lastly, her classic 'One Day At A Time' is being played on Chicago Gospel Radio and all over America, and Also is on Ministry Of Sounds Hed Kandi Beach House 2016 Done by Jerry C King, Joe Smooth and of course, Faith Howard. Her house music label representation is 'Kingdom'but she has worked and does work with multiple Gospel labels.
Faith, born with God-given anointed gifts through song and word that completely encompass her love for ministering to the people of God, is a native of Chicago, IL. She is the protégé of "The Queen of Gospel Music", Albertina Walker, from whom she was the first recipient of the Albertina Walker Foundation for the Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship. Faith's first vocal recordings as a soloist can be heard on Walker's 1995 Grammy Award Winning Album, Songs of the Church.
Faith lends her talents to several music ministries within the Chicago area, listed among them are: Tyrone Block & L.S.D., Dwayne Woods, Just Friends, and Valencia Lacy & Unquenchable Worshippers. Her ministry has also afforded media presence by way of appearing on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel, Chicago's WCFC-TV38 shows which includes Testify, Among Friends and WGN's Singsation. Additionally, she has been favored to tour the United States and Europe as both solo artist and background vocalist for other renowned artists.
Faith currently serves as one of the Praise and Worship leaders at the New Life Covenant Oakwood Church under the leadership of Pastor John F. Hannah. While not limited to the Sunday morning arena, Faith has accompanied and lent vocals to many highly sought gospel artists, whose names include: Yolanda Adams, Bishop Walter Hawkins, Bishop Paul Morton, Cece Winans, Smokey Norful, Marvin Sapp, Dwayne Woods, Myron Butler, Ted Wynn, Rance Allen, Shirley Caesar, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kurt Carr, Albertina Walker, Dorothy Norwood, The Caravans, Angela Spivey, Jessie Dixon, Walter Whitman and The Soul Children of Chicago, to name a few.
