"Placid Places" is 9th release by Mooz on his own Hidden Suite Records.
Bound with four unique cuts, the release supplies techno meant for different club situations and festival environments.
The track that titles the release, "Placid Places" features an ever-evolving percussive element tightly tangled with a somewhat acid bass line.
Spacey ambience and more evolving percussion is everywhere to be found on "Flatscreens And Mobile Phones". Twisted dark vocals appear very sporadically, spicing the track's dark beats.
An even more obscure mood is the main trait of "Fugitive". A cut that would suit ideally on dark and small basement clubs.
"Wait" brings down the pace, starring a calmer and laid back composition, a track reasonably suitable for morning or opening sets.
