Our fourth release is a eleven-track, Various Artists EP, packed with tracks aimed squarely at Summer dancefloors. Featuring both past and future E&F artists, including two stunning debut releases, this EP spans through acid, electro, house and beyond, with each track bringing its own distinct flavour.
First up, Antonio Di Tommaso's "Electric Shock" is exactly that; It's subtle, yet powerful acid feel and accompanying high frequency tones will make hairs stand on end. Combine that with a consistent, rolling bass and choppy hi-hats, this track will take you on a journey.
"Enjoy Your Acid" comes from young, Italian duo Two Opposites. A grooving, minimal track with swirling atmospheric pads and an acid bass that will keep your head nodding for the duration.
Italian producer Frankie Laz' track "Piorrea" is an uplifting house groover, with a combination of muted cowbells and toms, giving it a true Balearic feel. It's atmospheric chords and solid, squelchy bass are sure put a smile on anyones face.
Up-and-coming Paraguayan producer Wil Do proves that sometimes, less really is more with his track "Simply". It's reverse snares and chord stabs give it an edgy feel without taking away the essence of its smooth and melodic groove.
Ukranian artist Иlov's offering "Tuned" is another people-mover with its pulsating and undulating bass teamed with funk-ridden bleeps and gltiches.
A collaboration from F.eht & Will Judge. "Back On The Boulevard" is an up-tempo piece that has the potential to fill any dance floor that has true appreciation for sound. It's tight vocals, acid bass and smooth, but, effective hats create a track that is sure to make you move.
The first of our debuts to feature on this release comes from Parisian DJ & Producer Vafa. His track "Ibrahim" is a powerful piece, packed with spacey sounds to give it that cosmic feel. The tough and consistent bassline is guaranteed to keep you stuck to the dance floor.
Our second debut comes from local Manchester talent Samuel Allott. His track "Aftertime" and its robotic accumulation of electronic sounds create a consistent, rolling techno groove that will keep you locked in.
Making a return to the label is Gian Marco AKA Jon Marea, with his track entitled "Bifidus". This up-tempo, electronic groover is peppered with fluttering synths, acid flourishes and chopped percussion that is sure to keep the most attuned ear guessing.
The penultimate track on the EP is "Funky Ride" by Belgian artist Gravitational Effect. This is another track that does exactly what its says on the tin. This electro classic-in-the-making truly does take you on a ride with its warbling acid bassline and funky electric guitar riff.
The closing track of the EP sees the maestro, Tommy Vicari Jnr make his long-awaited return to the label. "SCO" is an uplifting and inspiring track with heavy jazz-influences. This stunning Rhodes Piano piece was made back in 2005 and is sure to be an instant classic.
