Acroplane Recordings' first LP of the year comes from The Person, with The Future's in Your Head ' A heavily analogue and modular infused album spanning techno, electro, acid, IDM and ambient sound design.
Machine Envy kicks off the LP with a dark ride through foley and modular sound design, leading you to the electro and techno of Crosstalk Emissions, Circa 2000 and Two of Five. Dark ambient sound design returns for the interlude of 655321, leading to the acid electronica of n = dim X and the storming techno of Maxres Acid. The two final tracks, The Hex Inventory and Horsell Common, round off the LP with some amazing analogue IDM workouts.
'The future is a concept, it doesn't exist. There is no such thing as tomorrow. There never will be, because time is always now. That's one of the things we discover when we stop talking to ourselves and stop thinking. We find there is only present, only an eternal now.' - Alan Watts
