Matt Gavris is young producer and DJ from Boston, MA. He began DJing on a weekly radio show at University in Scotland, where he brought his listeners through a journey including everything from post punk, indie dance, disco, funk and soul to underground hip hop and rock music.Around 2009 he found himself DJing house parties and familiarized himself with the more pure forms of house, disco, and techno. In 2010 he founded a monthly club night called B- Sides, where he hosted and played along side artists such as Erol Alkan, Rory Phillips, Mr. Scruff, Craig Smith, and Kiwi in the small town of St Andrews by the sea.Returning to Boston in 2012, he met John Barera, co- founder of Supply Records, and collaborated on the production of the Passenger EP, which was released by Dirt Crew Recordings. In 2013 he joined Brenden Wesley and Will Martin as a resident at Gallery at Middlesex Lounge where he continues to develop his sound. Now focusing intensely on production, Matt works hard to allow his wide range of influences to breathe in the music he creates.
