F Stop (AKA Mateous, Monologue, & Fiver) had his interest in music production, DJing, and live performance begin in 1997, during his freshman year of college. While managing the largest record store in Boulder, CO at the time, he developed a passion for the dynamics of sound and music production and was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, eventually working on music and playing alongside some of the most talented artists in the region.As an original producer, re-mixer, and live performing artist for over 14 years, F Stop's work encompasses a wide range of genres, from deep tech house to melodic techno, to ambient / downtempo / trip-hop, and often incorporates sounds within a combination of genres, making some songs more difficult to classify
