Mango Alley's 26th release, "Panorama Car," is an uplifting collaboration between label veteran Makotrax and the imprint's founder, Mango. The former is the sensational Japanese artist, whose "Hagoromo" remains a label standout; the latter has been busy this past year preparing his much anticipated artist album. This single jets out of the gate with a off-kilter groove and swirling lead, both of which drop out during the lengthy main break. There, we are met with a variety of "hallucinogenic" arp lines, reminiscent of the classic "Babo O'Riley" by The Who. When the beat comes back in, these layered arps continue to build in resonance, and soon thereafter, Mango's signature lead chords enhance the mid-range. Also included in this pack is a "DJ Tool" version of the single, with all of the most prominent beats and melodies from the original solo'ed (to any aspiring producer's sampling delight).
