After a short hiatus, Gazeebo is back with a new single featuring the remix talents of England's own cosmic duo Coyote. Timm Sure & Ampo better known as Coyote have been high on our list of personal favorites for years now so we jumped at the opportunity to collaborate on a release with them. Their ever popular Is It Balearic? record imprint plays host to some of the best in the business. Artists like Max Essa, Social Disco Club, The Project Club and Deadstock 33's have all joined in on the balearic disco fun. Like most Gazeebo releases, "First Come First Serve" is laced with a variety of different elements from latin percussion, live guitars to lush balearic undertones, some live clap happy drum beats and of course Gazeebo's quintessential disco lasers. Using a somewhat subtle and tasteful approach, Gazeebo pulls all the stops and goes back to his percussive roots featured on a lot of his early Community Recordings releases and weaves together a groovin 9 minute, bass heavy, percussive, mid-tempo jam. For the remix, Coyote abandon their usual trademark balearic sound and deliver a more upbeat full moon flavored gem. Preserving the latin based grooves, Timm & Ampo build on an array of dancing arpeggiations and bomb dropping baselines which brings new meaning to the term "cosmic". A rare find for fans of Coyote who have played a pinnacle role in the evolving nu-disco and balearic scenes.
