Tennek

Tennek is a versatile artist/producer born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. His fascination with house music was evident from a young age in the late 2000s when he would listen to the radio attentively during house music playlist hours on the weekends, awaiting music he liked with a cassette inserted and ready to record over the existing music. That kindled his passion for music and in turn fuelled the desire to make his own. Growing up in Pretoria, house was one of the primary music genres played in every pub and household stereo. With so much exposure to music played/curated by artists such as DJ Fresh, Rocco Rodamaal and compilation albums released then, there was no doubt that the environment and its soundtrack would shape his taste in music.
