Roger Panes alias Mr.Rog is a new talent from Barcelona’s Hardgroove scene. On the decks since 2003, he has worked with party collectives like High Voltage, Xhu-P Parties or Electrotech-no. His next move was into production on a basic setup with laptop, Dynaudio monitors and an M-Audio keyboard. Mr.Rog has played at influential clubs such as Row14, La boite at Florida 135, Input, La Cova, Cyclik, and also at outdoor events such as the Massive Festival. His first tracks generated interest and support from some of Cataluña’s leading Hardgroove labels, due for release later in 2011. Now, he has joined forces with some of the scenes leading names - Privatti (Privatti Records), The Rectifier (Naked Lunch) & Spektral (Valvula, Unnafected) – to create a new platform to introduce and develop the Climax Label sound.
