Mark Pompeo

Mark Pompeo was born in Jersey City and spent his early childhood in Bayonne, NJ before his family moved to the small town of Montvale, NJ where he was raised. His journey into music began in the 5th grade when he started playing percussion in the school band and later forming a rock band with his friends in high school. His love of electronic music developed in college where he started DJ’ing fraternity and house parties, with early influences like Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, and Afrojack. Upon graduating in 2010 with a degree in electrical and computer engineering, he went to grad school for an MBA during which he started producing under the name DJ Marquee.
