Freaky Funk is Dj & Producer from Montenegro, born and based in Niksic. His achievements made him an important artist in the electronic music scene in his country.He had shown his passion for music through musical school at late 90"s,by playing drums & percussions.Always fascinated with electronic sound he decided to get into it by himself. He started dj-ing and a bit later even producing his own music.From 2003. to 2009. he worked as a Disc Jockey (beach parties, night clubs , cocktail bars).In 2010. AfterBeach Parties organisation ivited him to play at their parties all summer long as a resident DJ on 5 of 10 exclusive locations on the seaside. During that year he shared decks with names like Funkerman, Tom Novy, Hernan Catanneo, Gadjo... He also released his first EP called "Just Visiting", including 4 tracks, signed by Artefact Records from Macedonia. Next step was joining another organisation, "RetroActive Dj's", created by his good friend Dj Proximus.2011 was a very succesful year for him too. He entered, and later won an online competition which prize was gig at one of the greatest festivals in Europe - Exit, in Novi Sad, Serbia. Famous Exit Dance Arena capacity is 25000 people, and he was part of it, alongside stars like Joris Voorn, JamesZ abiela, Tiga, Deadmau5 and Joachim Garraud.Later that year, he confirmed his huge quality at biggest Montenegrin electronic music festival - Refresh, in Kotor. 5000 people on the dancefloor, and big line up led by Felix Da Housecat and Funk D'Void.In 2012 he released his new EP called "No One", and single "Dub Life" for Belgian label Philosophy Recordings. Tracks were played and charted by many Dj's. He also did some podcasts and radio shows for various Radio stations worldwide. "Eko Fest" in Herceg Novi included him in line up too. He played at that charity event with desire to make our environment safe place to live and gladdly supported it.Last year he also played on "Bedem Fest" in his hometown, and it was truly great experience.Today, Freaky Funk plays all kind of music, and he always says : "There's no bad music, only bad entertainers".
