Dusty Dukes

When David Bott (Melbourne, Australia) and Luke Kirsten (Cape Town, South Africa) met in London in 2010 their eclectic musical tastes and backgrounds intersected at the place where uplifting melodies, grooving beats and baselines meet. Dusty Dukes was born. Inspired and influenced by progressive house, electro, Balearic, and minimal techno sounds, Dusty Dukes have gradually crafted a unique sound that excites dance floors and often straddles genres. The Dukes honed their DJing craft playing local gigs and Thames boat parties in London before hitting the studio in 2013 to produce their first signed record on Emerald and Doreen Records. Since then, Dusty Dukes have continued to enjoy regular releases on labels including Bedroom Muzik, Outertone, Equal Records, and Teknotribe and have received airplay on 5FM Radio in South Africa.
