With more than 12 years of a solid career, going through his early year in the progressive trance scene presenting his first progressive trance act back in 1998.After releasing several tracks on labels like Neurobiotic rec., Flow rec., Nanobeat rec., Millennium rec., Solarsiv rec., Sounds of Sanity, Progressive Grooves, JER recs or Liquid rec., an artist album was released on 2003 as Faktor-D, a minimal trance side project, deploying the chance to tour from New York (USA), Cancun (MX), Zurich (CH), Valencia (SP), Split (CR) and pretty much all over Portugal.After his recent vinyl releases on Baroque rec. (UK) and Resopal Schallware (DE), Diogo has now a defined and unique sound, crossing over many styles and influences, from Techno, Progressive and Minimal, with subtle psychedelic elements, but with a banging dark groove, that doesn’t give rest on the dancefloor.Besides his “native” project he also is working on two other different approaches of electronic music, Cooltour going through Dub/Dubstep and Downtempo with Pedro Caetano on the vocals and melodica, and Antonio Lourenco in the Sax, and TJAK on World Music and Downtempo with Vitor Bandeira, Pedro Sotiry and Gabriel Gomes.2009 was the year that will see the birth of 24 hours Records, a label which will rooster some of the most talented and prominent artists, and some upcoming talents as well, like Nano-mechanic, Spikers, Aeshi Takeshi, Steve Menta, Yoz and Kaesar, so stay tuned and expect cutting edge electronic dance music from this label!
