Calypse

Maura and Shana were born in Oristano and Rome. They met in 2016 in a party in Rome, decided to create "Calypse" and to create a new identity for both, contaminated by their hip-hop, house music and deep minimal groovy sound. The girls are united by the energy that evolves from their sound it involves everyone who hears it, with their energy on the desks. In 2017 already the first important support, from Joseph Capriati, who plays “Love 2 Dance (Calypse Remix)” at the WMC in Miami. In the following years they signed on big labels, such as the legendary Nervous Records, where they released regularly; Lapsus Music, Circus Recording, Flashmob Records. In 2021 “Cafè Sonido” was released on Raw Thentic Music, much appreciated especially by The Martinez Brothers who propose it in
