Next to drop on OneFold DGTL are the gritty sounds of Max Muller's 'Warehouse EP'.
The French talent kicks off with his dark, energetic title track, a hair-raising, atmospheric soundscape featuring deep, grinding bass and powerful vocal loops. With plenty to play with, the EP then sees producing heavyweights Pete Dorling and Kalypso each turn their hands to the original. Dorling streamlines the sound, focusing on the rapid beat and a distorted sample of the original's vocals, delivering a high energy underground dance cut, before Kalypso's fluid, lighter rework plays on the ethereal elements of Muller's original.
Rounding off this impressive EP is a second track from Muller, 'Striker', holding its own with cavernous beats, textured percussion and low vocal lines melting into the melody.
