Hard Dance heavyweights Organ Donors land a knockout right hook with this unique and inspired album, the 3rd to date over their impressive 15 year music career as DJs, Live Act and prolific producers. Notching up 100+ productions on leading labels including Nukleuz, Tidy and Kiddfectious and signing to the same agency as the likes of Kutski (Radio 1), Eddie Halliwell and John O'Callaghan has placed them in a league of their own. As a result, through their pioneering live show 'Audio Surgery', Organ Donors have become one of the Worlds most exciting DJ and production duos.
Their debut album, 'Plastic Surgeons' released on Nukleuz in 2004 established the Organ Donors as a dominant force in Hard Dance with every track being released as a full single drawing the attention of the scene's leading DJs. Brothers in mischief Matt and Scott Harris followed this up with 'Oldskool Autopsy' on Tidy which was immediately championed by Mixmag and Trackitdown, hailing it as a defining bench mark in the history of the genre.
For their 3rd album the Organ Donors wanted to try something new, flipping the whole album concept on its head and so 'Under The Knife' was born, bringing on board all of their favourite artists and producers in the scene today to reinvent their stunning back catalogue in their own trademark styles - BK, Scott Atrill, Technikal, Mark Sherry, James Allan, Cally & Juice, Will Atkinson, Vandall, Dr. Willis, Vinylgroover, Zany, DJ Choose, Mac 'n' Taylor, Neal Thomas, Dark By Design, Joe E, Wragg & Log:One, FJ Project, Mark EG, Fausto, Kidd Kaos, Scott Project, Luca Antolini, Louk, Thilo & Evanti, and Joey V.
Right from the start the Organ Donors wanted 'Under The Knife' to be more than just an album project, it's about a full reinvention of their biggest material as new and different singles, a full UK live tour and even more so it's about collaboration and showcasing the wealth of talent emerging from the scene around the world.
Kicking off with the Michael Jackson sampling '4 Tribes (Wanna Be Starting Something)' which was originally released as part of Nukleuz's DJ Nation series in 2003 and shot straight into the UK Top 40 on vinyl alone! With its 'Mama Say Mama Sa Ma Cu Sa' 4 Tribes was due to be dropped in conjunction with the start of MJ's epic live come back tour and instead found itself released as a tribute to one of the greatest entertainers ever known. On re-release as a Trackitdown exclusive the single once again topped charts, leading the way for the album and other singles which include 99.9, Rhythms Divine, Wave Guide System, In Power, Whats Up?, Looking For Drugs, Mental Atmosphere, Blackout and Locked Tight.
