Harem Tone debuts on DXR after a stunning debut release on Remedy Records, UK. Harem Tone is simply and anagram for Other Name and is the guise of DXR's main man Jay Riordan. Tonal pleasure is a sumptuous three track ep of deep grooves and spacey vibes. The pleasure begins with the funky as a mosquito's tweeter Jam Hot that is seriously hot. Pounding groove, funky disco-tinged bassline and sharp and crisp hi hats that are not unlike Plastikman at his club friendliest. The pleasure continues with a wonderful slice of nostalgia with Take Me back that fuses Italo-Disco house and Detroit Techno and is a sure fire dance floor hit. The Pleasure is complete with an almost ambient, quite epic sound scape and bizarrely titled Maggot. Jay Riordan has recieved supports from Dave Clarke, Hawtin, Garnier, Dave G, Roman Zawodny, Robin Renwick, Freddie le Grand, Nachklangmusik, Silent Sister, Tomi Chair, Narj Cue, brian Taaffe, Slam Dave Fields, Erell Ranson, Jay Kay and many more. Jay's club grooves are hot and as one of Dublin's leading DJs his new moniker Harem Tone may just be the platform that brings Dublin's best kept secret to the rest of Europe's attention. Awesome Production! Full Support! NACHKLANGMUSIK I'm really starting to fall in love with J.R. SILENT SISTER Pumpin' for the summer! Versatile set of tracks with a solid soundscape all the way through. FLUXILLIAN What a selection of dynamite tracks! There's only a couple that I wasn't into. Thanks DJ HOSTAGE (Derek Taylor) Kicks ass! OEYSTEIN BEKKEN Liking These HARRI (Sub CLub, Glasgow) Cool vibes here! ROB LEINER (R&S) Need we say any more?. Check this out.
