The second compilation in the Tru Thoughts 'Shapes' series, 'Shapes EP: Z' showcases remixes and alternate versions of tracks by the likes of Quantic and Isreali duo Polar Pair a.k.a. NDV (Nadav Ravid) and Malkiel Grossman.

"Out of my Head" - actually an NDV remix to an unreleased Polar Pair track - manages to have a house feel without resorting to a steady, predictable 4X4 beat. Norwegian record producer and DJ Prins Thomas, takes the Latin flavour of "Mishaps Happening" and adds an extra layer. Produced by Tru Thoughts head honcho Robert Luis and Simon Green a.k.a. Bonobo (here under the monikers 'Nirobi' and 'Barakas'), "Bungee Jump Against Racism" is given the remix treatment by producer, DJ and Label Manager Diesler, while Brighton producer TM Juke remixes "Walking Through Tomorrow" by The Quantic Soul Orchestra; the live band project of musician and DJ, Will Holland (Quantic).
