  • Label Layers Label
  • Catalog LAYER05
Layers’ fifth comes packed up with deep vibes, with the Ruff Stuff duo serving two original tracks based on chubby basslines and grooves. Needless to say on remixes the offer doubles, and both Montel and Du Chatinier treatments add quality and value to the package.
The EP signed by the Italian producers is another well-crafted example of their extensive experience in the studio, and marks their return on the label after the massive remix offered on Layers’ very first EP by Eigenwijs.
Ruff Stuff’s music is a classy blend of House, Garage and a bit of Disco, and their sound is always crossing the thin line dividing the raw and dirt House beats from the aesthetics of deeper vibes, always enrichened by an elegant use of sampling and percussions.
Drawing a good amount of inspiration from une maison-de-disques Parisienne, which recently celebrated a remarkable milestone, and of course from the man behind it, the duo provides a refreshing take on the most recent contaminations of the House sound, and goes straight to the point with addictive vocals lines and uplifting beats.
