Omid S is no stranger to Younan Music. This will be the Washington based producers 2nd EP on Younan and it delivers the percussive and clever tribal house grooves that he is building up a reputation for. Releasing on some of the best labels worldwide which includes a track licensed to VIVA music, we are delighted to welcome Omid back with a six track EP filled with perfectly sourced ethnic sounds and hits that are so realistic I think he has been chasing tribes in africa with a microphone! Its literally tribal mayhem, you may get hit in the face with a bongo drum or slapped by a djembe djembe or even heckled by a voice you cant understand but you will love every second of it. Amazingly constructed and produced this is perhaps the most consitent selection of tracks ive heard all year with every track being as good as the last making for a rare EP where all the tracks can be played one after the other. We have essentially gave you half of a set ;). Omid has nailed the perfect groove that is so popular at the moment and its a contender for one of the best EP's of the year from any producer on any label anywhere. watch out for those falling bongo drums, although they make a great noise when they land! The track names are cool and exotic as well so it will look good when loaded into a deck on Traktor :)
