Robert Strauss' music has found home on UK imprints BBE, Freerange Records, Soul Jazz Records and on compilations by the likes of Little Louis Vega, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Dimitri from Paris, Osunlade, DJ Spinna and Joey Negro.
Building on his momentum as international DJ and producer, the Canadian-born music multi-instrumentalist founded WAX Recording Studio full of vibey music making gems like the Fender Rhodes, Arp Odyssey, Minimoog, Oberheim & Prophet V, meets the MPC 3000 and Studer tape machine.
Collaborating with the likes of Leroy Burgess, Baatin (from Slum Village), Andrew Roachford MBE, Omar Lye-Fook MBE, Henrik Schwarz and Recloose, it's here Strauss went on to record the TDR release for his vintage supergroup Personal Life, produce for Eneeks and bring us Goldiva.
