Samurai Yasusa is back in the house with a nice sonic expression. The quick 3-track instrumental Loyality EP is much more than House. Samurai describes his concept behind the EP as "a dark EP, filled with emotions of anxiety and hope. Each song has its own detail but mostly glide to a happier/higher energy ending." The title track opens up the lot with synth jabs, dramatic strings and clip-clopping percussion for an epic almost 9-minute dance-able journey. It continues on with "Tahkila Gold," with its plucky loops that peak half way through and drops to a strikingly heady groove. "Warter Liment" rounds out the release but keeps the spirits high and tech-housey voyage full steam ahead. Yasusa believes "the ability of capturing all these emotions, translating them into sound, [is what] makes this EP stand out." And stand out it does.
