Se-Lek Musik next instalment turns its attention and focuses back a tecky nature.

M.I.N.K is a new offshoot collaborative project from "Dageneral & Bageera" who are one of the most consistent music teams on Se-Lek.

Following their previous releases including the debut album "The World Is Not Real" this is the next phase of production chemistry between this colourful duo.

So, what can we expect from M.I.N.K

The M.I.NK sound follows suit to a degree of the "Dageneral & Bageera" sound but with a wider scope of influences, crossing areas of House, Tech House to Techno but with a difference.

The first title on this release is very evident of that with techno-driven rhythms whilst introducing a fun Latino style influence, a party atmosphere and delayed vocal chants. For those who were fans of 80's house and "T coy – Carino" may well enjoy this a lot.

Zigzag – keeps lighter elements in flow whilst also including a darker groove element, its much more Tech House influenced but with a familiar sample that in principle might make you question the track, however, it's worked in very well.

The last track on the release is pretty given away in its title – "Short Dick Man" was very popular track throughout the 90's with a fun element. The track in its sound is very reminiscent of that NY warehouse sound with pounding groove distortion and overlaid funky synth riff. Keeping the lighter-hearted elements consistent but with a darker edge.

Welcome to M.I.N.K ---- music doesn't always have to be too serious
