Emerald & Doreen Records clap their hands, say yeah in heaven, in universe. Olavi Foldi from Amsterdam, Netherlands is 7mirror, being able to create a whole cosmos out of some tracks. "Kolibri", Foldi`s second release for Emerald & Doreen Records, is populated by vastness. "Ezekiel" bodychecks a storytelling bassline and some twinklings of smiling synthesizers. "Cornflakes" samples a male soul voice to rearrange it as the opponent to a happy keyboard arrangement. While the title track "Kolibri" lets Jack say "hi" to Dub, "Close Encounters" dares to confront the frontier between known and unknown phenomena. The astonishing "Ayahuasca" celebrates the strongest psychedelic drug on earth. It`s heavy bass and all that mindless jazz. "Gemini" is an elegant trip into electronic listening music, while "Anubis" let`s a heavy bass, well, rap on the surface of sender/receiver signal sounds. A lone wanderer of the stars` sierras is back in fantastic shape.
