Born and raised between the Island of Corsica and Manchester, Matt is creating a fair bit of buzz around the North west of England and we are sure that he is a talent that is on the brink of breaking through.

Having released on Monique and Toolroom amongst other labels and of course with previous releases here at K9 he is no stranger nor a newcomer to the scene but we are positive that it won't be long till everyone wants a piece of him.

This 3-track EP leads with 'Kerfuffle', which has a shuffle and is ever-so slightly muffled. In other words, it has buckets loads of groove and the tops are rolled off giving an added sense of dirt and rawness. Percussive elements are added and taken away from the insanely hypnotic track that keeps the listener interested and locked.

'Time Out' is another percussive monster, that bubbles along with the Marimba leading the charge. Lots of subtle layering of atmospheres and textures create the perfect backdrop for the percussion to shine.

For the final track it's heads down 3am vibes, 'Uber Dote' is a nice moody contrast offering something a little tougher and filthier. Pitched down vocals create a dark feel and the percussion puts the track firmly within techno boundaries.
