John Crockett began DJing in the early 80s and has been producing House music since the early 90s. He resides in New Jersey and runs three labels called Twirlspace, HausFlor and Stimuli. He has released productions and remixes on labels such as Code Red, Blaze Imprints, Soul Heaven and Vega Records. This is not his first appearance on Centric Music, as a Crockett remix of DunnEasys Rise Up appeared on the labels sixth release. Vida Verde is the first fruit from Crocketts musical partnership with DJ Stephen La Morte. The track also features a guest contribution from Hector Davila.
MAIN MIX: Vida Verde drips beauty, but still has one eye on the dance floor. Absorbing keys, committed beats and soothing synths work their magic under the smooth vocals.
GUITAR DUB: This is a slightly tougher version that will suit more intense DJ sets. Thumping live drums, a churning bass line and cool keys earn the money on this mix.
BEATS: For the more adventurous DJ, a drum track has been included in this package. The live percussion really gets a chance to shine on this version, with extra sound effects adding to the power of the drums.
MOODYMANC DEEP MOZAMBIQUE REMIX: Manchesters rising star Moodymanc aka dubble D reinvents the track with expert use of his Jazz trained drumming skills, a complex beat pattern takes you deep into the drum. With great use of the vocals this remix is directly firmly at the dance floor. The dub version is stripped back showcasing the high quality drum programming.
DELANO SMITH REMIX: Detroits finest provides a stripped down jazz piano inspired version, keeping true to the original.
JUAN Fierro: A simply beautiful thoughtful remix from Centrics new signing Juan Ferrior, taking the pace down a few notches he producers a celestial insescent groove capturing the feeling of the oncoming summer perfectly.
