Back in the late '90s, techno music knew its first peak of intensity and creativity. CHRISTOPHER JUST's I'm A Disco Dancer was one of these classic tracks that made the history of electronic music and of Gigolo Records, as the fourth release of HELL's newly founded label, especially with this sexy robot voice that nobody could get out of one's head. And after eight years and more than 150 releases, there isn't any techno lover who could forget it. This is why this song deserved a bunch of new remixes to make all the electronic fans remember the true heart of techno music. And once again Gigolo Records didn't choose the remixers randomly. The restless minimal techno producer JOHN TEJADA and the German duo MISC. have been called to show everyone that remixing is no act of fake or forgery, but an art of creative destruction, where a precise balance has to be found in order to make it sound fresh and new without losing this special disco-dancer-spirit. JOHN TEJADA's new version is a very smooth minimal track. A very bouncy drumline associated with a bassline becoming deeper and deeper. And a sexy female voice covering CHRISTOPHER's vocoder... This is JUST perfect for making our minds entering this special dancing mood... The one every disco dancer needs to feel ready to dance all night long! A few months after their highly acclaimed second album Like Morning In Your Eyes on Sender Records, CHRISTOPHER BLECKMANN and HANNES WENNER from MISC. made the honour to remix CHRISTOPHER JUST's anthem as well. Supported by technoid and bass powered drumline on the background, the acidish lead and its variations of frequency make of this song an outburst of energy. Highly recommended for instant electrifying of too chilly dancefloors!!!
