Fresh off his recent # 1 hit "Had To" on Beatport's Top 100 Tech House Charts, Seattle native Chick Iverson keeps the momentum going, with his long-awaited release on the storied West coast imprint Uniting Souls Music. 2018 has been quite the year for the young DJ/producer, whose burgeoning career has thus far seen releases on prestigious labels like Laser Native, Desert Hearts, Audiophile XXL, and now - Uniting Souls.
Aptly titled "Friends Tonight", the release is a 3-track EP consisting of two Chick Iverson originals (Friends Tonight and Release), and a remix of the title track by Iverson's longtime pal EMUH (aka Alexander Hume), another young Seattleite making waves in the world of tech house. The release finely illustrates the vibrant energy of Seattle's hot, next-generation tech house scene, where many of Iverson & Hume's talented contemporaries have been making their mark with a consistent output of quality material, including art, music and events.
Keep an ear to the ground this July, as Chick Iverson & Emuh embark on their "Friends Tonight" EP Release Tour, which takes them up & down the coast for several dates, in cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Francisco, Eugene, Portland, and Bellingham. The tour culminates in a triumphant return to the homefront, as the boys play headlining sets at a special 12-hour edition of Diggin' Deep, Uniting Souls' long-running, monthly party at Seattle's much-loved Monkey Loft.
