The Glamour's music, apart from their historical influences, became deeply rooted in the Midwest dance party scene. Dirty clubs, dive bars, and sweaty house parties, provided the band with a perfect place to throw events and play music. This scene ultimately became the subject matter for tracks like "Kidz Night" and "Respect The Party." Capturing the attitude of the time, the carefree, have fun mentality, represented the atmosphere at their shows.
Now with the release of their first EP, “Fly By Night” on Calamity Jane Recordings, The Glamour has headed back in the studio and is in the process of working on their debut album. Taking their DIY sound and infusing it with the sensibilities of pop and dance music, they strive to maintain their initial rawness while guiding their cross-genre influences into a more focused place. Whether you hear them in person or pick up the debut EP “Fly By Night” on Calamity Jane Recordings, The Glamour is a concentrated party team that will have you dancing in no time.
