Joint Nation Records starts 2014 off with their second EP release, El Camino. Danish producer deLuca gives an impressive original with well supported remixes from Elpierro, Floyd Lavine, Oliver Murray & Rob Sloan. deLuca - El Camino (Original) This track allows deLuca to deliver the sophisticated tech house sound for his first release with the South African label. 'El Camino' instantly sets the mood for the entire track with punchy synth chords and a warm sub baseline. Intelligent grooves and solid drums lead the way, while spaced percussion drive the track's main rhythm with vocal stabs and filtered sweeps adding to the tension and path that deLuca has set out for us. deLuca - El Camino (Elpierro remix) First remix from the well rounded EP is by the German deep house upholder Elpierro. The track has a timeless feel with smooth pads and classic drum rhythms. This track has more of a downtempo feel than the original that make you feels calm and at easy. deLuca - El Camino (Floyd Lavine Remix) Second remix welcomes fellow South African Floyd Lavine to offer his unique blend of house & techno to the label. The track show's the great restraint and technical ability of the South African. The dreamy pads, steady percussion and soothing vocals drift you away deep into a groove. deLuca - El Camino (Oliver Murray remix) Third remix is from another Nordic producer Oliver Murray. Unlike the others, this screams more of a techno feel and is a solid dance floor remix. Synth stabs and complimenting percussion hold the track in a high tempo. Vocals give the track a smooth blend from an organic feel in to the tech groove! deLuca - El Camino (Rob Sloan remix) Final remix by South African Rob Sloan starts out slowly that keeps you intrigued to see where the song goes. A great difference in the vocals again keeps constant energy throughout the song. The sythn leads and constant percussion allows the track to have an edgy feel about it.
